Outside Counsel
The legal needs of the agencies, departments, boards, commissions, colleges, universities, public retirement systems, and people of the State of Ohio are vast and varied. At times, the Ohio Attorney General calls upon private-sector attorneys to assist with such representation via the appointment of Outside Counsel pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 109.07. The use of Outside Counsel by the Attorney General spans decades and the attorneys who serve the State and its people in this manner recognize it as an opportunity to make an exponential impact and rightfully count themselves among an elite class of public servants.
