Public Rule Filings

The Attorney General’s Office has rule-making authority under ORC Chapter 119, the Ohio Administrative Procedures Act, in a variety of areas including Consumer Protection, Peace Officer’s Training, and Charitable Law. When necessary, proposed changes to administrative rules and the public hearing information related to those rule changes are posted on this page.

See the Register of Ohio for more information on Administrative Rules, and a list of recent rules filed by the Attorney General's Office.

Also see the Rule Making Process for more information about how rules are made and how you can provide your input to the Attorney General.
